Stourton Caundle
Phil Knott and I, Ian Semple, frequently discussed the idea of merging his extensive research on Stourton Caundle with the Stalbridge Archive. In a generous act of trust, Phil entrusted the Archive with nearly all of his research, both in paper and digital formats. To honour his work and preserve his legacy, we have dedicated a section of the website to him. Through this collection, we aim to keep Phil's contributions alive and accessible for future generations, ensuring that his commitment to local history continues to inspire and educate. Stourton Caundle.
